Myth Busters On Success

Let’s face it, most of us are holding ourselves back from succeeding.  We’ve got plenty of ‘head crap’ going on.  Some of it is just made up, other bits have been ingrained in us and other parts are battles every man or woman must face as they move forward in their life towards the pursuit of better.

Blogging is a great way to make money online.  One of the most famous bloggers in the world John Chow is a 7 figure earner and is a top earner.  Blogging is a great source of traffic.  With blogging it’s your business.  You get to build the blog the way you want, whatever themes you want, the plug-ins you want and it’s up to you on what you write about.  It’s all up to you.  I myself am a blogger and this is why I like it.

Seth Godin Knowledge Bomb

Seth Godin has written more books than you can shake a literary stick at.  He’s launched more businesses and projects than you could count.  He’s definitely somebody you want to follow and to take great stock in what he says.  He recently wrote an email about “feeling the heat”.  It’s short but very powerful.

He talks about the dicey moments we all have in our business and life.  When these dicey moments occur, some people really start to feel the heat.  They’re affected deeply by it.  They are stressed and some just give up.  At the same time, you’ll see others that are just fine.  They just get on with their work and they are completely unfazed by it all.

So, what does this tell us?  Ye olde Goldin says it nicely, it’s not the heat that’s the issue, it’s the feeling.  It’s all about how we process what’s happening to us.  Without a doubt, things will get dicey at times in this online business or in any business.  How you handle that moment when it comes will make all the difference in the world between your success or you giving up and ultimately failing.

I often point you to a powerful system because it’s working time and time again for people from all walks of life.

Here’s the thing.  Things will still get dicey even in this business.  Easy as it is.  You’re learning new skills, stretching yourself to new boundaries and yes even making more money than you ever have before can bring it’s own challenges.  Ask yourself these questions:

  • Is it all worth it?
  • Will you view the dicey moments as valuable learning experiences rather than failures?
  • Will you continue on unfazed?
