This May Help If You’re Stuck In A Financial Rut

Getting overwhelmed and unfocused will happen to the best of us.  It’s what you do that counts.  If you’ve been feeling like you’re stuck in a financial or life’s rut, this quick blog post may help.  We’ve all been there before.  You may have heard of the famous fitness guy, Jack Lalanne.  Jack was known for his consistency in working out every day.  In his later years, he was in far better shape than most people one third if his age.  He used to say: “It’s ok to take a day off from working out but on that day, you’re not allowed to eat.”

What did he mean by this?  Basically, he was saying that you really shouldn’t allow yourself a way to get unfocused.  It would help you keep control and get right back on track a day or two later.  So, if you’re unfocused?  In a slump?  Over whelmed?  Exhausted and you are feeling overextended?  Take a vacation.  Take a day or two off.  Clear your mind.  Gather your thoughts but know that you’re a man or woman on a mission whether you know it or not.

So, do what you’ve got to do but then get right back on track.  Funny enough?  It’s by not taking action and working on what you need to which will make you feel worse and more stressed and anxious.  Do you get the sense of that too?  It’s simply amazing how much a good day’s work will get you right back on track to feeling like your best self.  In a similar manner, many do get overwhelmed and stuck because they’ve got too much on their already full plates.  That’s not good either.  Keep it simple.
