2,300 years ago, Alexander the great conquered the known world. By the time he died at 32, he had grown his empire from 20,000 square miles to over 2,000,000 square miles. People still speculate what made him so wildly successful.
I’m not an expert on this but I know something about Alexander’s life and how it played a huge role in making him so successful. When Alexander was a child, his father hired the smartest man in the world to come tutor his son. He hired Aristotle who to this day is known as one history’s greatest minds. So, one of the world’s greatest leaders was mentored by one of the world’s greatest thinkers. It’s probably not a coincidence.
That’s often how it goes as great people have great mentors. If you want to be great, go find someone who is already great and go learn from them. It’s much easier said than done.
