I heard from a farmer if you plant corn, you don’t raise pumpkins. It sounds like the kind of practical advice you’d get from a no-nonsense farmer, right? I mean farmers aren’t exactly known for their wild flights of fancy and whimsy. They get right to the point. If you want solid, practical advice, then go to a farmer.
One of the eternal truths of farming and life is that: “You reap what you sow”. Whatever seeds you plant up will eventually spring up.
When it comes to succeeding online, you must plant real seeds. If you’re treating your business like a hobby, you’ll get hobby results: not much. Maybe a few slight and withered stalks but no bumper crop.
If you treat your business like a business by investing, planting and cultivating, then you’ll get business like results. You’ll get bushels of corn, big profits, enough to feed you through the winter and then some.
