What’s a nice paycheck worth if you can’t enjoy life with those you love? Getting to $100k and up per year online isn’t hard. Just make sure you get this part right first as most get it backwards. It’s very easy to look at someone’s success on the surface isn’t it? To think they’ve got it all.
Imagine for a second. You’ve been looking up to someone your entire life, they’re rich and happy. They have a beautiful family. Then they suddenly pass away. Just before they passed, they left a letter that in essence says: “It’s all been in vain. I wasn’t there for my family when it counted. I was miserable. If I had to do over, I’d do it all differently.” Wow. The truth to this all? We never truly know someone else’s life and what’s going on behind the scenes, do we? We see this with celebrities all the time who seem to have it all and then they sadly take their own lives. Life’s not all about the glitz and glam we see advertised on the surface.
Now, here’s my point today. We can’t look at others lives to dictate our own happiness. We must be able to step back and make sure our goals are ours. Making sure what we are doing is 100% aligned with our core values and beliefs and that we’re not sacrificing what is most precious to us.
What are we not willing to sacrifice? What boundaries are set up to protect the life you want to live? I’m not sure about you but that’s one of the best things I love about these little businesses we run. You start with the type of lifestyle you want to live first. You build your ideal day and life.
