There’s a quite a number of ways to get targeted traffic to your website for free.  One of them I’ve started using is Cragslist .  Craigslist have a lot of traffic and you can target people in certain areas and people looking for an online business opportunity.  The more targeted you can get your traffic the more likely they are to buy your offer.  I’ve heard people that are getting regular leads from Craigslist.  It’s a great way to get extra leads.  You can also try other Classified Ad websites such as Gumtree which is similar to Craigslist.

You go to Craigslist and then click on post to classifieds.  You would pick what it is you’re offering.  In my case I’m offering a business opportunity and I would pick Marketing/Advertising/PR.  Then you would type in your personal details and then you would describe your product or service.  Don’t make the mistake of selling your product though.  What your main objective is to sell the click.  That is all you’re trying to do here.  When they click the link, the next stage could be to get their email address and then the sales letter would sell them on the product.

It depends on the product or service you’re promoting and the level of commission you’re getting.  With some, you get 5% – 10 %.  With others, you can get 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and above up to 100%.  This is with front end offers.

With back end offers especially if you’re promoting masterminds it can be 30% as there are a lot of costs involved.  Others are different.

With physical products, it can be less as there’s costs to make the products and shipping and handling and so on.  If it’s all digital, the product or service is created once and so therefore the costs are lower so you can get higher commissions.

There’s programs out there that have recurring plans and pay out regular commissions for you getting the customer into the business, for the life of the customer.

Others are paying out with incentives like laptops, cars, holidays and other prizes.

It depends on your goals.  Some people are looking for thousands of views a month while others are looking for hundreds of thousands of views a month.  Making a return on investment is one of the main things you’re looking for.

I would aim for quality traffic first as this will be highly targeted traffic looking for what you have on your blog.  Do keyword research and search for what people are looking for in your niche with a certain amount of traffic that you can rank for.  This will give you the traffic you need that will be targeted in your niche.  Then you can think of targeting more keywords one at a time to increase traffic.

Try researching long tail keywords as this is very targeted traffic.  You should get good blog traffic and this should start resulting in more leads and more sales for you.

Once you start making money with this, you can scale it up to what you like. You also get traffic quite fast with this method.
