Could it really be that simple? Sir Winston Churchill says: “However beautiful the strategy, you should ocassionally stop and look at the results.” Here’s what most folks don’t get. We all have a strategy. Not having a strategy may be your strategy. Doing the same things over and over again and expecting a difference result may be your personal strategy. Ignoring problems and the things you want to do in life and sweeping it under the rug is a strategy.
The question posed by Sir Churchill could be: “Is your strategy working for you?” Or simply: “How’s it going?” Are you happy, content and fulfiled right now? Are you open to improving your strategy, 10X? Then tack on Peter Dricker’s advice to what you’re doing: “If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it.”
So what do you want? Measuring your current strategy over the last 30 days is it getting you closer to what you want in life? If not, then what adjustments and tweaks can you make to your strategy, asap? Getting what you want doesn’t have to be so hard. The data to track and improve on can be a fun process. It’s just a process of what worked, what didn’t and what’s next? This is a simple but amazingly poweful process I invite you to go through today. I hope this helps.
