Without This Missing Ingredient You’ll Fail Your Resolutions

How do you know you’re going to keep your New Year’s Resolutions this year?  If you’re like 92% of people who make resolutions, you’re going to fail yours.  What’s their problem.  They don’t have real accountability.  Most people set vague goals like: “Lose weight”, “get organised” or “enjoy life more fully.”  Even if they have a plan, they’re either accountable to their soft and nice friends or their soft and nice self.

If you want to lose weight and enjoy life more fully, get a dog.  Get the kind of dog that if you don’t take her out on long walks, will piss on your shoes and tear up your furniture.  That’s what I call motivation.  Here’s another idea: If you want to save more without spending less, enjoy life, spend more time with family and add excitement to your work life, start a business with Click Funnels.  We’ll do everything short of piss on your shoes to make sure you make your business successful.

Are You A Frisbee Or A Football?

What’s the difference between throwing a Frisbee and throwing a football?  When you throw a football, you arch your back, heave it high and hard and let it go.  It spins rapidly but what always happens?  Gravity turns it into a bag of potatoes.

When you throw a Frisbee, you stand up straight, take a couple of steps, do a little twist and shout and spin it away in a straight line.  The Frisbee floats on.  It’s not that the Frisbee thrower is stronger.  Skinny guys throw Frisbees hundreds of feet further than burly guys throw footballs.  His thing just straight up flies better.

When it comes to business, results are all that matter.  Hey football man, stop fighting gravity and try our aerodynamic small business model.

Marketing Tip From The Undisputed Queen Of Cake Baking

Sylvia Weinstock, 87, is the undisputed queen of cake baking.  She’s been in the business for over half a century and she knows how to bake and move her cakes.  Some of her more elaborate cakes have been known to fetch just over $50,000.

Once she was asked to inspire a gathering of culinary students and she gave the brilliant illustration: She took three 9 inch, round chocolate cakes and put them out on a table.  All three of them had widely intricate white frosting flowers running over the top and all over the sides.

To the student’s horror, she picked up two of the cakes and plopped them on top of the first one making a gross smushed frosting tower.  So, what was her point?  Her point was to only ice the top layer.  Otherwise all your work will get covered up.

A lot of wanna be entrepreneurs are paying attention to the wrong things.  They focus so hard on unimportant things and leave gaping holes in the important ones.  Are you focusing on the wrong things?
