Why do I pick on stupid gurus and bad bosses?  I’m sure some of them are great guys and gals, maybe very encouraging people but they still don’t deserve your business.  It’s like the not so wonderful Wizard of Oz says when he’s exposed as a phony at the end of the movie, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

After Dorothy and her friends finish their trippy trip to the celestial city and the wizard wasn’t actually able to help Dorothy get home, he says in his defence: “I’m not a bad man, I’m just a bad wizard.”  My translation is: “I’m a nice guy but I can’t do my job.”

Google bosses give their employees inspiring work with clear expectations, room for creativity and compensation that matches their efforts.  Most people are going to have a boss for most of their life but they usually settle for bad bosses.

I’m not a “Wizard” but I’m a good boss.  I’ll do for you what good bosses are supposed to which is to get you good work and good pay.

We all know that Los Angeles is the entertainment capital of the world but did you know that Chicago was originally the place to be for filmmakers during the silent film era?  Look it up, it’s a fact.

So, what happened?  During the 1920s, Thomas Edison had a patent on the only camera that was widely available.  He only allowed 9 studios to use his camera and of course, he charged them a fee but some people made films without paying tom his fee.

Edison sued them.  What was the solution?  Every filmmaker that didn’t have Edison’s approval, moved as far away from Edison as they could.  That just happened to be Los Angeles.  Are the pressures of your life telling you that you need to move somewhere more favourable?

Maybe you can’t literally move away but you can at least do something far different from what you’re doing now.  You can move your money making ventures as far away from your current job as possible.

This Little Kid Tells A Brilliant Joke About Elephants

You wanna hear a joke from a five year old?  Sure you do.  Here’s one from a little kid: “How do you kill a lella-phant?”  I don’t know.  Tell me.  The reply was: “With a lella-phant gun.”  The more I think about his answer, the more I think he’s really onto something.

One marketing guru I once read said: “You can’t kill an elephant gun with a BB gun.”  Now, I’m not sure if that’s true but even if it is, it’s not very helpful.  I’m sure there’s lots of ways to kill an elephant and a number of them will get the job done.  The best way to kill an elephant would be to use a gun that was created for the sole purpose of killing an elephant.  It would obviously do the job better than anything.
