Are You Self Sabotaging Yourself?

This kills procrastination forever.  I have a quick blog post for you today.  You know, many good, smart and hardworking people think they lack the follow thru gene.  So, they’re quick to hold themselves back, labelling themselves as chronic procrastinators but really, it just takes a teeny tweak in their strategy to turn it all around.

I’ll relate it this way.  Many people that are trying to quit an addictive habit like drugs or alcohol.  They feel it’s too much to have to quit the habit forever.  Sounds very daunting, right?  So, they’re often reminded of this one thing which I hear is posted up on the walls of these places like AAA: JUST FOR TODAY.  That’s all the sign says but it reminds them that they don’t have to worry about forever.  Follow X number of steps for X number of days because all they have is today at hand.  Can you do it today?

Another guy I know is worth hundreds of millions and he tells himself something similar: “Everything ends.”  He knows that whatever he must do to get the results he wants, everything will end.  It could be:

  • A 10 minute task
  • A phone conversation
  • Focusing 1 hour on something

Everything ends.  So, he just does it.  “Everything ends, everything ends, everything ends,” he tells himself.  He’ll go to sleep a bit later that night , just like everybody else.  I hope this makes sense and I hope this is helpful.  It was quite the “AHA” when I heard it too especially in this business.

You need to be able to send leads every day, ideally but it doesn’t have to take but 30 to 60 minutes to do it.  So, if you follow the steps above and focus just for today, keep it simple.  You can arrive at $4k plus months, month after month as a nice result.  Make sense?

This is what it takes to make it.  Many “noobs” mistakenly believe that in order to be successful in this biz or any biz that they need to find a big win or a home run hit.  Yet, the millionaires and pros in the game that are getting big results, they realise it’s all about, hitting singles.  Day in and day out hitting singles.  If you can do that, you can get any sort of results you’re after:

The Mindset Shift To Go From $0 To $10k Months

This may hold back almost 98% of folks.  How we frame things in our life can mean the difference between zero figures and the ideal lifestyles and big residual incomes we really want.  For e.g. We’re contemplating an opportunity we want to take.  The deadly question that holds many back is, what if?  What if it fails?  What if I make a fool of myself?  What ifs usually just hold us back and they also rarely happen.

A better way to frame this?  Say, so what, instead.  If you took a calculated risk so what if it doesn’t work out as expected.  You can always take on another job or try something else or do anything you want to do next.  This world is chock full of options right now.  Give yourself a real shot at what you want.  You deserve it.  What ifs usually keep us on the front porch and never to get out and play in the first place.

So what decisions can put us in the game and into big results for ourselves and our families.  It’s the only way forward.  This so what strategy comes from a cofounder of PayPal which is sold for $1.5 billion.  Then he sold the company, Slide, to Google for $182 million.  That’s the power of so what vs. what if.

If It’s Become A Chore To Get Steady Sales Online

You know, often times, good hard working people hold themselves back in this biz.  They see what’s possible but they don’t always believe it’s possible for them.  Does that make sense?  It could be self doubt.  The way we were raised or a plethora of other things that could be going on.

So, here’s the first step to getting more sales.  Sell yourself first on what’s possible with a good, proven plan in hand because a good plan doesn’t care who uses it to make a great income just as a set of dumbbells doesn’t care who uses it to get in shape.  You just have to set aside negative thoughts and just do it.

Try this proven system that can get you results if you will agree to use it.

Free Yourself With This If You Have Too Many Tasks On Your Plate

The answer is simple but not easy.  The first rule of thumb if you feel there is too much on your plate in your business is to follow the K.I.S.S. principle: Keep It Simple Silly.  Now I know this is easier said than done.  Life isn’t simple for most of us.  Yet, that’s why I recommend you run a presence driven side business.  It can help keep it more simple.  It can get the sales zinginig your way in a rush.

Are you open to getting a flood of sales while having less and less on your plate?  Well, here’s what I mean.  Presence, is really just being in the moment.  If you’re eating dinner with your family, it’s not dinner with everyone buried in their cell phones or with everyone starting up at the TV watching Netflix in a semi zombie state.

See, if they were present?  That’s 30 to 60 minutes of quality family time and conversation they could have had.  The time was there.  They just didn’t capitalise on it.  Yep, it’s hard.  We’re tired.  We just want to unwind after a hard day but one will make us much more happy and fulfilled in the long run with just a bit more focus and intent.

Is this making sense?  So, if we say you’re a present affiliate.  Then you’ll focus only on what counts.  You’ll be in the moment doing what you need to day after day.  If you’ve got 30 minutes a day to do this business then you are intent on what needs to be done task by task until you get it done.  Yes, you’ll need to follow the required steps.

Even with a simple plan like this one.

This business can be simple and lucrative while you do this part time as long as you can follow the steps above.  You’ll be shown one core task.  It won’t be too hard to do.  Commit to that and it can start bringing up to $1k to $4k sales your way very soon.  Are you open to that?
