Could You Be Trying Too Hard?

Nobody said it would be this hard if you’re not at $4k to $10k months or more in your online business yet especially if you’re doing this on the side, could it be that the system or path you’re taking is far too complex?  What usually happens with overly complex systems?  Well, they create too much friction.

With too much friction, we eventually just throw our flustered hands up in the air.  With 1,001 things piled up in front of us to handle plus dealing with one tech headache after another, we’ll just give it up all together.  The trick is to flip this process around the other way and use overly simple systems.

Is this making sense?  With a simple plan, things get done.  Results and sales come in.  Remember the ol’ KISS principle: Keep It Simple Silly.  Simple plans are the best way to a lifestyle friendly biz so you can run in your spare time.  I hope this helps.  Here’s one of the simplest systems I personally know of:

Here’s Why It’s Not Vain To Earn $10k+

Fulfilment and income, does it get any better?  You may or may not think of this when you’re first starting a new business.  Yet, you may be delighted to know one of the very best things about getting high ticket commissions.  It’s the level of impact you can have on others lives.  It’s a feel good fulfilling business to be in because when you’re getting high ticket commissions, you’re freed up to help people get results.  That should be the only thing that really counts, right?

A $7 product that brings someone zero results and just more info to digest?  Or a high ticket product that gives them the ability to quickly hit a lifestyle friendly, $10k plus per month recurring income.  The true cost in my opinion is the results people are or are not getting.  So, before I run, here’s what I mean.  If you’re getting $97 commissions, how much time or investment can you truly offer to people?  Not a lot, right?  You can’t offer them a bonus like getting them their first 100+ leads or working with them until they get their first big commission.

You can’t afford to outsource a website and get them all set up.  You can get this done for probably under $100.  Yet, if you only need ten $1k commissions per month or 1-2 sales that gets you up to $10k per month.  Doesn’t that allow you the time and freedom to really help others out?  Do give them a lot more attention and support so they can get real results, just like you are?

I hope this makes sense.  We want this to be a fun and fulfilling business.  One that helps others get what they want too.  For e.g. If you had a close friend who wanted to get in shape, you could buy them a current #1 best seller health book on Amazon or you could get them a personal trainer and nutritionist to help them every step of the way.  We know which option will likely give 98% of people the best results and which one will just sit on a table and gather dust.  So, yes big commissions that allows us great incomes and lifestyles is great but that’s not the only thing this wonderful business provides.

Yes, I want to earn a great lifestyle friendly income and create a great impact helping others.

The Ugly Truth To Procrastinating

Do you have a task that you keep putting off one more day.  Then try the following method.  What I’m seeing is that many peoples entire side business seems to be simply worrying and stressing over just starting.  They’re tackling the same step one to building their business up over and over again which only makes the stress build and only delays their odds of success that much more.

The brain is stressing them out because it just wants something to do.  When you get fully engaged in something and you just tackle step 1, step 2 and step 3 to do what’s needed.  The stress melts away and joy and fulfilment enters it’s place.  A nice side effect, right?  I’m not sure what you’re up to but if you follow a simple plan like this one:

Break down what needs to be done until a clear task is in front of you.  They’ll spell out for you what you’ll need to do.  Visualise yourself doing the task and roughly how long it will take and then most importantly embrace any fear or reluctance to start, use it as fuel and do it.  You’ll be thrilled with how good you’ll feel right after especially when all the results start flooding your away.

Is Perfectionism Holding You Back?

Don’t beat yourself up.  You’re smart and very resourceful.  You ever see someone very successful and they seem either crazy or to have half the smarts you have?  I don’t mean that to sound mean.  It’s just how it is sometimes, right?  A big reason why someone like this can get to 6 to 7 figures in their business is that they simply stay out of their own way mainly because they don’t know any better.

See, we can often hold ourselves back because we are smart and mindful of ourselves and actions.  We tend to procrastinate if we are a perfectionist when it comes to getting things done.  The problem is things are almost never perfect just like life itself.

Perfectionism is the death and bane to many smart and savvy folks side businesses which could bring them the good life they’re after.  One thing that can help is to take some pressure off yourself.  Don’t view things you launch as failures if they may not work out as planned.  View things as experiments.  If an experiment fails, you did not fail right?  You just collect data from an experiment, learn something from it and go to the next step from there.  That’s all it takes to succeed.

Another thing that can help is to accept getting things to “Good enough”.  You can always go back and improve things later but you may not ever get a chance to because of all the success and results you’ll be getting from just taking massive imperfect action.  I hope this may be helpful.
