Are You Living Life On Your Terms Or Comparing Yourself To Others?

Seeing all their big income pics?  Incredible lifestyles?  Their smiling faces 24/7/365?  When you’re researching a new opportunity or are looking at the ads displayed across the Internet.  Usually, you’re met only with people’s gurus and experts successes.  The good life they are living.  The big commission checks they are bringing in.  The sports cars.  The nice homes and the beach vacations. The smiling faces of all those around them.  All that’s great and all.  Can help to motivate you and see what’s possible.

However, I think it may be important to also see that we don’t know much of anything of what’s going on beneath the surface.  May not know if this person is on their 4th marriage because they’re a workaholic?  Could be up their ears in debt?  Or they could be happy happy rich free and doing what they love.

The point is, it doesn’t help us much to judge positive or negative because what they earn and how they live is out of our control.  Is this making sense?  I’m reminded of Seneca’s words: “Slavery often resides beneath marble and gold.”  What we see on the surface can distract us from hitting our goals.  That’s the purpose of today’s blog post.  It gives us power.

We can now focus on Us, you and I.  We know our terms, our wants and the life we want to be living.  That’s all that should matter, right?  I hope this helps.

Finding Your Get Rich Industry

If you drive a car, there’s a good chance you have Henry Ford to thank.  He made cars affordable to everyone and created an industry.

However, that’s not what this blog post is about.  It’s about finding your own new industry that will make you rich.  During World War 1, a Chicago newspaper called Henry Ford: “An ignorant pacifist.”  Henry Ford never went to school.  All he had was practical knowledge.  All this didn’t stop him from becoming one of the richest men in America.

Ford sued the newspaper for libel.  In court, the defence called Ford to stand to prove that he really was ignorant.  They asked him questions like, “How many soldiers did the British send over to America to put down the Rebellion of 1776?”  To which he answered, “I do not know the exact number of soldiers the British sent over but I have heard that it was a considerably larger number than ever went back.”

This went on until Ford had enough.  Finally he said, “If I should really want to answer the foolish question you have just asked or any other questions you have been asking me, let me remind you that I have a row of electric push buttons and by pushing the right button, I can summon to my aid, men who can answer any question I desire.”

That’s why Henry Ford was one of the richest men in America.  He knew he didn’t have to be a genius.  He only had to have the right people around him with the right knowledge to be rich.

And that’s why Henry Ford was on of the richest men in America.

A Modern Fairytale And Your Fortune

Can you imagine a fairytale taking place today?  One of those stories where love always prevails and good wins and everyone lives happily ever after.  If you’re more than 10 years old then the chances aren’t great but believe it or not, fairytales do happen.

Take Queen Sonja for of Norway for proof.  In the 60’s Sonja was a tailor in Norway.  Then she met the Norwegian prince King Harald V. and the rest is history.  Sonja and Harald dated for 9 years but were unable to be married since Sonja wasn’t royalty.  Finally, Harald told his father that if he couldn’t marry Sonja then he wouldn’t marry at all, ever.

That would mean the end of the Norwegian monarchy.  Harald and Sonja were married later that year.  Yes, a tailor with no connections to the royal family become a queen after her prince said he would marry her or no one.

The point of this isn’t to make you wonder where your fairytale ending is.  It’s to show that those things that you think only happen in stories can happen to you too.  Sonja probably never thought that she would ever talk to a prince but now she is the queen of Norway.

You might not think that you have a chance to be rich.  You might not think you have a chance to leave behind your desk job that overworks you and underpays you.  You might not think you could get rid of all that stress that comes every month when you pay the bills but you can.

The Difference Between Winners And Losers
