When Bethany the Corgi was put on a flight from Seattle to Jackson Mississippi, she probably had no clue to what was going on.  Not to offend any from Jackson Mississippi but if she did have any idea about what was going on, then it’s likely she wouldn’t have been very excited because well Mississippi is Mississippi.  The state has been voted with the worst quality of life and highest crime rates in America but fate intervened and threw Bethany a bone.  While she was making a pit stop in Dallas, Bethany was put on the wrong flight.  Not just any flight but the best she could have chosen.  Bethany steered clear of Mississippi and took a quick vacation to Hawaii.  Bethany was put on the wrong plane and ended up heading to the island paradise of Hawaii instead of Mississippi.

Everybody gets lucky at some point in their life.  It’s a fact.  Someone finds a dollar bill on the ground and someone else goes to Hawaii instead of Mississippi.  Everyone has that one lucky day.  Today is yours.

Everyone knows that sometimes you have to learn things the hard way because everyone has made a mistake and learnt from it but today that saying has taken on a slightly different meaning.  While young people still learn things the hard way by making mistakes, they also learn the hard way by doing what generations of people used to do every day.  Going to an actual library and having to find an actual book and searching through the pages to find information they need.  Yep, that is learning things the hard way for young people today.

Whether it is a good thing or a bad thing is up for debate but one thing is clear, what we used to be unable to imagine is becoming reality everyday.  Driverless cars are rolling closer and closer to public use.  3D printers are being fine tuned to the point of being able to print medical equipment.  Libraries and books are becoming last resorts when it comes to doing research.  The world is changing in ways we never imagined.  It’s also up for debate whether it’s a good thing or not.
