Gurus Are Leading These Millennials Astray And It’s Kind Of Funny

There’s a hilarious new trend among millennials where tablet toting city kids are trying to “simplify” by moving out to the country.  It sounds so nice in principle:

  • Get away from the hustle, bustle and noise
  • No more worries about what “the man” is putting in your fresh veggies
  • Reconnecting with the earth

That’s not the hilarious part.  What’s funny is that most of them move back almost immediately.  Why you ask?  It turns out you have to wake up real early to manage a farm, their craft Sushi joint doesn’t deliver where there aren’t paved roads and when the Internet goes out, it’s out.

The country is not for everybody.  Some guru sold them a romantic ideal and left out all the game changing details or reason #481 to never trust a guru.

Click Funnels certainly isn’t for everyone either.  When we sit down with prospective members and have real conversations, lots of people say: “You know, I don’t think this is for me.”  We’ve heard so many more people say: “Here’s my break.  This is a model that makes sense, that’s going to challenge me but that I can follow.”  Our transparency has skyrocketed our retention and we’re really excited to welcome you to the team too.

What Does Prayer Have To Do With Sales?

Does something in your work life or financial life need to change?  I recommend a surprising method: prayer.  Some people pray by closing the door, closing their eyes, kneeling in the ground, folding their hands and speaking their hearts and minds to god.

However, I’m thinking of a different kind of prayer.  The Bible tells a surprising story about prayer: A widow, feeling she has been wronged visits a judge day and night nagging.  Just nagging.  Pulling on his sleeve and reminding him: “I’m here! I’m here. Whatcha gonna do?”  Eventually, according to Jesus, the judge gives her what she wants.  Not because she deserves it but because her nagging worked.

If that counts as prayer, the Click Funnels team is extremely religious.  Did I mention they fulfil your orders and deal with your customers?  You can do all you want of the first kind of prayer but if you start with Click Funnels, we’ll nag night and day for you.  Don’t get me started on the commissions we pay out.

How To Know If You’re Getting A Real Business Education

The home business industry is so full of duds that it’s hard to know when you’ve picked a winner.  Here’s another test: Do their offers include a real business education?  Start a man a business and feed him for a little while.  Teach a man to start a business and feed him for life.

Here’s one question I ask to sniff out a weak business education: Do they sell static materials or interactive opportunities?  I’m sure people say they’ve tried to sell you their e-books, their video series’, their webinar recordings, etc.  All that says is this: “I want you to drop hundreds of dollars for a static piece of teaching material that costs me nothing to produce.”

If you want an education, hold out for an opportunity that provides coaching and a peer learning community.  Don’t let them trick you into thinking you need overpriced educational materials.

Three Reasons Never To Click On Penny Hoarder Ads

Do you keep seeing Facebook ads for: “The Penny Hoarder?”  It’s a website that pumps out article after article of small ways to make small money from home.  Here’s why respectable people like you shouldn’t give them any web traffic: Their solutions are unsustainable.

I know as well as you that money gets tight but I also know that: “Tight money” is the symptom not the problem.  Click Funnels provides a consistent passive income stream that is a sure financial foundation.

It’s self disrespecting.  Think about the name: “Penny Hoarder.”  You’re not a Penny Hoarder.  You’re a hard worker willing to invest in a well-proven, time-tested money-making opportunity when it comes knocking.

Positive psychology benefits.  It does wonders for your psychology to know that the money you’re putting down on your kids’ education, your week long vacation or your down payment on a new car comes from your hard work at something you own.  Watching videos of celebrities and completing surveys doesn’t have that same effect.  If you’ve ever been tempted to click on Penny Hoarder, that’s a symptom.

Here’s What You Should Be Watching On Netflix

Do yourself a damn favour by throwing on some sweats, pick up a pint of ice cream or whatever  you want and cozy up with ‘Sing Street’ which is a new feel good musical on Netflix that scored a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.

In a dead end town where kids only aspirations are heavy drinking and watching day time TV, a 14 year old Conor is smacked in the face by hope and wonder.  It comes in the face of the uber cool, beautiful and mysterious teen model, Raphina.  For the sole purpose of winning an audience with her, Conor starts a band and the rest is well, just a great movie.

On his way out, Conor sings about his life like it was a stolen car:

  • This is your life
  • You can go anywhere
  • You gotta grab the wheel and own it
  • This is your life
  • You can be anything
  • You gotta learn to rock and roll it
  • You gotta put the pedal down
  • And drive it like you stole it
  • We get stuck in the dirt
  • And we can’t see where we’re going
  • We face all kinds of hurt
  • And the friction slows us down
  • But I won’t be waiting here for the world to win me gold
  • And I’ll leave your dust behind me
  • Stranded in the road

What are you waiting for, stuck in a rut of a job, pouring yourself out where you’re not getting appreciated or compensated nearly enough?  This is your life.  You’ve got to drive it like you stole it or stay where you are.
