Most of us have many of the same errands each month or so that we have got to run. This could be:
- Getting a haircut
- Getting an oil change for the car
- Going to the Gym
- Doctor’s appointments
Now, would you let the same guy that changes the oil in your car, cut your hair and also do a health check up on you? You probably wouldn’t. Firstly, it would be weird and secondly we expect each professional to be a pro in their given profession. We don’t really care of our Doctor is good at being a hair stylist but we just want him to be a Doctor.
This is what people do, they specialise. Anything else is suicide. I have heard of businesses trying both wigs and beepers, daycare and taxidermy. It just doesn’t work. Once you specialise and then niche down, you will have a very profitable business and happy repeat clientele on your hands. It’s also a much easier way to run a business.
Especially this online business. You need Traffic, Conversions and for the Economics to work out. That’s this business in a nutshell. Then you need to narrow down to a more specific plan that you can turn into a daily routine. It’s actually simple if you do it. If you ignore this you’ll keep spinning your wheels wondering why you’re not profitable or happy with your online business.
To get traffic, you could do:
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Advertising
- Youtube
- Blogging
- Forum Marketing
Just pick 1 and master it. Ignore the rest for now.
To increase conversions use:
- Email follow up
- Webinars
- Google Hangouts
- Teleseminars
- Events
- Sales Letters
- Video Sales Letters
Again, pick 1 core activity at selling and master it.
For the Economics part, it’s all about the profits in the long term. This is one of the most important parts, yet many overlook it. If you’re not making money, then what’s the point in doing all this? The cure is to have high ticket offers on the back-end so you can just plug it into your business without having to worry about fulfillment, support and so forth.
This is about the only system I know of that allows you to do that.
Seriously you can have a 7 figure business with just 1 traffic source and just 1 conversion method. There are lots and lots of examples to prove this. For e.g. You see a Facebook Ad for a weight loss course you click and it takes you to a Video Sales Letter, you buy it, and most often there will be 2-3 more VSL’s offering higher ticket programs which will be congruent and complimentary to the main offer. Then they simply follow up through email to the sales letter or whatever that key method is to offer you special incentives or whatever it is. It’s a simple funnel and if it converts well and is a nice offer, all they have to do is keep sending traffic to it and the sales will keep piling in. While they are doing this, they are building up a prospect and a buyers list which they sell other products to in the future. This is how you get money on demand. Ain’t that tough.
You just have to focus and get things moving here. I believe in you and I know you can do this. Again, The Economics must not be ignored.
