It gets you out of financial and life’s ruts. There’s lots of gold in this question: “I want to change the way I earn my income so I can work less and still make all the money I’ll ever need.” The answer is change your environment. It’s super easy to dismiss this key success factor to reach any goal you want. It makes sense what we think about something like losing weight and getting ourselves fit, doesn’t it but it doesn’t always, when it comes to things like more income.
So, for e.g. if you hang around people that could care less about their bodies and their health. Their bad habits will quickly rub off on you as a natural side effect. They’ll also begin to feed your negative thoughts. It could be: “It doesn’t matter what you eat! We’ll all eventually die from something, eat what you want, enjoy life.” It could be: “Dude, chocolate taste better than kale, have a Reese’s cup or three.” Pretty soon? You’re off the healthier, happier, more fit and energetic you, bandwagon but hang around the people that support your goals? It could be personal trainers, cross-fitters, people that love eating and cooking healthier foods and so forth. A friend you’ll meet each morning for a walk, workout or jog? You’ll be much more likely to stick to your plan with out much willpower being required.
Is this making sense? Seth Godin puts it this way: “Who you hang out with determines what you dream about and what you collide with. The collisions and the dreams lead to your changes. The changes are what you become. Change the outcome by changing your circle.” Brilliant insight isn’t it? The same thing applies to income and living the type of lifestyle you want. Not everyone in our circle gets what we want to do. It’s normal. It’s not the typical 9-5 grind. So, environment and support, it’s everything. It will be a critical key to your success.

I don’t know, something just changes when you’re in a beach in Costa Rica, you’re sipping a good drink. There’s millionaires and people either living the type of lifestyle you want or they are like minded and share the same goals you have all there to support and help each other to help you. It just changes something in you.
Again don’t dismiss this. We see how it works in fitness and other areas. It’s no different here. Change your environment. Change your life.
