Have You Completed Step One To Getting Free?

November 17th, 2014 No comments

In one of my blog posts, I told you about the four, income maximising activities you should be spending your free time on.  I also told you about the best way to apply the 80/20 and get the free time you need to spend on those power activities.

Here’s step two: Hire a personal assistant.  You should look at your to-do list and look at what you spend your time on and ask: “How many of these could I delegate to a personal assistant?”  If you’re not sure of what tasks to include in your “assistant list”, here’s the best way to decide:

  • Decide how much you want to earn per year.
  • Decide how many hours you can work each week and then multiply that by 50
  • Divide #1 by #2
  • Delegate as many tasks as you can that are not worth the per-hour rate you got in #3
Let’s say, you want to make $100,000 per year.  You decide to work 40 hours a week (or 2000 hours per year), then $1,000 divided by 2000 hours is $50 per hour.  Every task that you do that’s not worth $50 must be delegated if you want to reach your goal.  The best part is that you can easily hire a personal assistant on sites like AskSunday.com and you can get most of your work done for $2 a hour.
In today’s connected, outsourced world, you can no longer use the excuse: “I can’t afford a virtual assistant”.  If you truly want to work 80/20 and achieve your financial goals, this is an essential first step.

How To Create Your Personal Freedom Island

December 27th, 2013 No comments

There’s a saying From Michael Gerber, The E-Myth: “If your business depends on you, you don’t have a business-you have a job.  And its the worst job in the world because you are working for a lunatic.”  Whats your reason for going against the proverbial grain and putting in time and money to grow an online business.  This is because you realise that you are not normal.  Most people are hunky dory slaving away at the 9-5 rat race and are happy with the scraps that they get from their job.

So what is that you want? Time, Mobility or Money freedom.  Take some time to think about the goals you would like to achieve in terms of:

  • Freedom of time
  • Freedom of location
  • Freedom of money

On a scale out of 1-10 with 10 being the best, what would life be like at 11 on each of these?  That would be pretty awesome right?  The end result is different for everybody.  You create your own freedom island.  But here is the sad truth.  Although a lot of people get into this business for the freedom they can get, they are anything but free.  There are time poor.  They are the worst of poors.  Even worse is that they think working harder is the answer.  They are wrong.  Hard work is not leveraged.  There is a big difference here.  Can you imagine a football player trying to be the coach, the quarterback and the wide receiver all in one?  He will get burned out quickly and be slaughtered out on the field.

This is exactly how I see people trying to build their online businesses.  They are getting slaughtered.  As the quote suggests from the beginning of this post, you have to work on your business and not in it.  So how do you do this?  You need systems.  There are two resources that will help you a lot.

The first link below will give you access to a presentation on a guy that runs a $1.5 million per month online business and will reveal his outsourcing secrets and methods that allowed him to go from earning $700/month to $315,000 and then to where he is today.

Click this link to get the presentation for free.

The second resource is where you will learn the type of systems that you need in your business, how to leverage ‘key’ components of other people’s efforts and you will also get the secrets to High Ticket Commissions.

You can access the system from this link.

Its very important to your business and well being that you get this.  So please, click both links, watch the videos about creating your freedom island and how this system can help you get there.  Your business, your family and you yourself need you to figure this out.  Enjoy the two resources and keep your eyes peeled for more tips and tricks that are coming your way.

Secrets Of MySpace

October 5th, 2013 No comments

If you have a look at a recent issue of Fast Company Magazine, you will find a very interesting article.  Once you read this article, you can get life changing results.  Sometimes you get education and breakthroughs from the most unexpected of places.  Of all things this article was about MySpace.  It seems so long ago when MySpace was popular.  Its unlikely the company will be back in business as only 1 in 5 businesses do well after going out of business.  They have failed multiple times.  The new owners seem to be confident about MySpace.

So, how does this affect you?  Its about reinvention.  Finding out why things didn’t work out in the past and what you can do differently to make it a success.  Things like:

  • Getting focused
  • Firing unmotivated staff
  • Doing the key things that will grow your business

This time MySpace have hired Justin Timberlake as the co-owner and some other celebrities.  They are leveraging other people’s skills.  This is very important.  The site is getting 1 new member every second according to recent statistics.

For most people, the statistics are not in their favour.  It is quite simple if you follow the right plan.  There is a a reason why some people are successful at making money online while others are not.  There are things you will have to do differently to be successful.  One thing you should do is reinvent yourself.  You will have to focus on what will grow your business.  Another important thing you have to learn is leverage.

Newbie Killed By Overwhelm

September 30th, 2013 No comments

This is a story about a newbie and we will call him Mr newbie.  Mr newbie is a smart and a hard worker.  Currently at his workplace he is suffering from security and while looking for something better he ends up wanting to make money online.  He is completely overwhelmed and not even sure where to start.  Then Mr newbie picks affiliate marketing as his main business model.  He is very excited about this.  He realises this requires a lot of skills such as:

  • Setting up websites
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Mastering paid forms of traffic like solo ads
  • Copywriting
  • Sales and Marketing

Mr newbie is getting taught by other people how easy these tasks are and are easy to do all by yourself.  He has a go at doing all this, only to find out he is more frustrated, more overwhelmed and not really making any progress.  At this stage he feels he should give up and wondering why some are successful and why some are not.

Hopefully you are not in the same situation.  If you are or have been you know you will understand as you may have been in this position.  You know you have to something different.  There is a saying from Einstein that goes: ‘doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results is insanity’.  You need to focus on the 1 or 2 things that will really grow your business.  Focus on your strengths.  All other work should be outsourced.   Outsourcing work is not reserved just for the rich and famous.  Anyone can outsource work.  This is how the rich and famous are so successful.

I have arranged for you to see a presentation at no cost or risk so you can learn about The Other People’s Time Formula.

Try This If You Need Funding To Quit Your Job

September 27th, 2013 No comments

Most of us get in to Internet Marketing to quit our jobs.  This is because we hate what were are doing for a job, not earning enough or whatever it is the internet seems like a solution to help keep us free from the 9-5 and gives you location freedom so you can work from wherever you want.  There is a problem that keeps coming up and yes you can learn about this problem from your job.  In your job right now, you are part of a bigger picture.  Maybe you are the salesman, the tech guy or whatever, but you are likely not the salesman, laborer, technician all in one.  Yet most people hop online and try to do all this by themselves.  You wouldn’t do this much at your day job.  If you are doing too many things in your job then you know the pain and struggle when you go this route.

It is good to learn to do things yourself but trying to do it all yourself, when it is easy to leverage other people’s time and skills will slow down and even stop your chances of progress and profits.  In order to leave your job, you need to learn how to leverage other people’s time so you can become the boss and run your own online business.  To do this you need to set things up the correct way from the very beginning.

Fortunately I have the answer for you.
