Are You Asking Questions That Have Been Answered?

Ever heard the advice: “There’s no such thing as a stupid question?”  I’m not so sure about that.  One of the greatest marketing mistakes entrepreneurs make is asking questions that have already been answered.  They ask questions like:

  • What product should I sell?
  • What should my website look like to maximise sales conversions?
  • What’s the best way to ship products?
  • How should I handle customer service and administration?

These aren’t questions that deserve long study or deep thought.  They are questions that have been largely answered already.

What products should you sell?  The only answer to that question in today’s online marketing reality is, expensive, high-profit products.

What should my website look like to maximise conversions?  This question has already been answered by the top marketers.  There’s a good reason why very similar designs are being used as they’re proven to work.

What’s the best way to ship products?  The best way to answer this question is, don’t.  Instead you should sell events, digital products or sell for someone else who will do the shipping.
